About Me!

My name is Mars! I'm a 23 year old artist currently based in Missouri. I grew up in South Florida and lived in Austin, Texas for a time as well.I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil! But I also love music and singing! I was in choir from 1st grade to graduation, and I did musical theatre in high school! I attended college for a short period but ultimately it just wasn't in the cards for me, so I moved out on my own with my fiancé and have been working on my art since (in between a full time job, that is.)I'm really passionate about building community and creating safe spaces for people who need them. With my Discord servers and my growing community, I aim to create the kind of online space I would have benefitted from when I was younger and struggling with my own internal and external conflicts. I hope that my series and my community are able to be something that brings people together.Some of my interests are early 2000s nostalgia and toys, analog horror, indie animations/cartoon media, anime and Japanese culture, weirdcore, and almost anything that's commonly considered to be "cringe" for one reason or another (FNAF, Hazbin Hotel + Helluva Boss, Steven Universe, etc).I find that the word "cringe" has been used to slander certain types of shows and media unfairly, giving them a bad rep and deterring other people from finding interest in them despite how much passion or quality is present. Sometimes things aren't really cringe, someone just had a really loud bad take/read and interpreted the media in poor faith.I think most commonly known "cringe" media is actually
